We all want to treat Dad with something special for Father’s Day, and that often means steak. If you’re having a crowd, serving and cooking multiple steaks can be difficult and expensive. Treat Dad to this amazing steak appetizer that he’ll be sure to love.

Ingredients
Steak
6ozyour favorite steak(NY strip, ribeye or sirloin)
kosher salt and pepper
Crostini
2tbspolive oil
1baguettecut into 1/2-inch slices
Topping
6ozsoft goat cheese
1/4tspfreshly ground black pepper
1/4cupsliced fresh basil leaves
1tbspprepared horseradish
1clove garlicminced
balsamic glazefor topping
Instructions
Season steak with salt and pepper. Cook steak in a cast iron pan or on grill until desired degree of doneness, about 4 to 5 minutes per side, depending on thickness. Remove from heat and let steak rest for 10 minutes before slicing into thin slices.
Meanwhile, brush baguette slices with olive oil and place under broiler until browned.
In a small bowl, mix goat cheese, horseradish, salt, pepper and garlic until well combined.
Spread some goat cheese mixture onto crostini, top with sliced basil leaves and a slice of bacon and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
