Ingredients
1/2lb.Sparkle bulk sausage
1clovegarlicminced
5leavesfresh basilcut in half
1/2tsp.dried oreganodivided
1Tbsp.hot Hungarian paprika
128 oz. cantomato sauce
115 oz. cannavy, cannellini or great northern beansrinsed and drained
1/2lb.ditalini pasta
Romano cheesefor serving
Instructions
Brown and chop sausage in a saucepan until cooked through. Add olive oil, garlic, half of basil and 1/4 teaspoon oregano. Let cook until garlic starts to brown and then sprinkle in paprika. Let cook for 5 to 10 seconds or until it starts to change color. Do not over cook paprika; it will burn quickly. Add tomato sauce and remaining herbs and let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
Meanwhile cook pasta according to package directions, reserving 1/4 to 1/2 cup water in pan. Add beans to tomato sauce. Add sauce to pasta and mix together. Transfer into a serving dish and sprinkle with cheese.
