Slow Cooker Ribs

What’s better to give dad on Father’s day than ribs? These delicious ribs are done in the slow cooker and turn out so tender they fall off the bone.

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs pork baby back or country style ribs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup chili sauce
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash hot sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400º. Season ribs with salt and pepper to taste. Place in a shallow baking pan. Brown in the oven for 15 minutes. Turn over and brown another 15 minutes; drain fat.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together ketchup, barbecue sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, oregano, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place ribs in slow cooker. Pour sauce over top and turn to coat. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until ribs are tender.
