Ingredients
1lbground beef
1/2cupchopped onion
1/2cupchopped green pepper
3clovesgarlicminced
8oztomato sauce
1/3cupketchup
1tbspbrown sugarmore to taste
1tbspyellow mustard
1tbspWorcestershire sauce
1tbspwhite vinegar
1/2tspsalt
1/4tspfreshly ground black pepper
1/2tsponion powder
4-6hamburger buns
Instructions
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet, drain the extra grease, remove the ground beef, and set it aside. In that same skillet, add the onions and peppers and sauté until softened, about 3 minutes, add garlic and cook 1 minute more.
Stir in remaining ingredients.Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 to 7 minutes. Add ground beef to the sauce in the skillet and stir together and cook until all is reheated. Spoon the onto the prepared buns and serve immediately.
