This Thanksgiving, we’re combining two classic and favorite side dishes. Green Bean Potato Casserole is easy to put together and is topped with a crunchy bread crumb topping. This dish is sure to impress guests!

Ingredients

  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 potatoes peeled, cooked and mashed
  • 10.5 oz. green beans cooked
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter cubed

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a medium pan over medium heat, cook onion until soft. Transfer to a large bowl. Add mashed potatoes and green beans.
  • In a small bowl, combine eggs, cheese, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Pour overtop bean mixture and toss to combine.
  • Transfer to a baking dish sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Top evenly with bread crumbs and butter. Bake about 20 to 25 minutes.
