No-Bake Honey Nut Cheerio Bars

No-bake honey nut Cheerio bars are perfect for a quick breakfast or snack on the go. Try your favorite dried fruit, nut or seed in these bars. Customize them to your liking!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 cups Honey Nut Cheerios
  • 1 cup raisins, optional
  • 1/2 cup chocolate-covered almonds or peanuts
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray; set aside. In a large pan over medium heat, combine butter, honey and brown sugar. Heat until melted and bubbly.
  2. Stir in vanilla, cereal and raisins. Pour mixture into prepared pan, packing it down firmly with a spatula and smoothing the top. Sprinkle almonds and salt overtop. Place in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours, or overnight until bars are completely set. Cut into squares.
