Thanksgiving Fried Cauliflower

Fried Cauliflower

Thanksgiving is in two weeks! So it’s time to start planning. Megan is in the Sparkle Eats Kitchen sharing one of her family’s favorite sides, fried cauliflower. It’s so good and easy to make. Try it for something different on your table.

What you will need for this simple recipe is 1 head of cauliflower broken into florets, 2 teaspoons of salt, 3 eggs, beaten, 1 cup of seasoned bread crumbs, 1 cup of seasoned Panko bread crumbs, and Oil for frying.

In a large pot of boiling water, cook cauliflower until cooked through, but still firm. In a shallow dish, combine bread crumbs and Panko bread crumbs. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Season your cauliflower with plenty of salt, (it may feel like you’re over salting them, but this recipe takes a lot) dip into egg, then into bread crumbs. Fry cauliflower in hot oil until nicely browned. Drain on paper towels and season with salt again, if desired.

And there you have it! A super quick and easy side dish recipe, perfect for your next dinner party that you and your guests will love. Happy Thanksgiving!
