Crab Rangoon Cups
If you love a crab Rangoons but have never made them, this recipe is for you. We’re making them a little easier with less work and lightening up the recipe by baking instead of frying. Delicious!
Lets get started with one 12 ounce package of wonton wrappers, one 8 ounce package of softened cream cheese, six ounces of drained and flaked canned crab meat, half of a teaspoon of garlic powder, one teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, one teaspoon of soy sauce, half of a teaspoon of powdered sugar (optional), half of a teaspoon of hot sauce, three chopped and divided green onions, and finally some sweet and sour or duck sauce for dipping.
Start by preheating your oven to 350º. Lightly spray a muffin pan with cooking spray. Press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup and lightly spritz with additional cooking spray. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges begin to brown.
Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix together cream cheese, crab meat, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, powdered sugar, hot sauce and half of the green onions. Divide mixture amongst wonton cups and bake for another 8 to 10 minutes or until filling is heated through. Remove from oven and top with remaining green onions. Serve immediately with dipping sauce of choice.
