Beer Tiramisu

And for dessert, make Beer Tiramisu. It substitutes the usual coffee with stout and is served in single-serving dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup stout
  • 9 ladyfingers
  • 1 tsp. cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cheese and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  2. In a stand mixer, whip whipping cream and vanilla until stiff peaks form, about 2 to 3 minutes. Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture.
  3. Pour stout into a shallow bowl. Dip ladyfingers into stout, coating both sides.
  4. Line four small serving dishes with ladyfingers. Add a layer of mascarpone, then dust with cocoa powder. Continue layering until each cup is full. Wrap and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
