Steak with Beer Sauce
For a hearty dinner, make Steak with Beer Sauce. As you can imagine, these steaks are packed with flavor and pair well with mashed potatoes or a side of veggies.
Ingredients
- 4 (6 oz.) sirloin steaks
- 1/2 tsp. salt, divided
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 cup lager beer
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Season steaks with 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steaks and cook 4 to 5 minutes per side. Transfer to plate and let rest.
- Remove skillet from heat and add beer and garlic, scraping any bits from the bottom of the pan. Return to medium-low heat and add mustard. Let simmer for 1 to 2 minutes. Add vinegar, honey and remaining
- /4 teaspoon salt. Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted. Top steaks with sauce and parsley. Serve with mashed potatoes or vegetables.
