Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 Tbsp. mustard
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 (13.8 oz.) package refrigerated pizza dough
- 8 sticks Colby Jack cheese
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, add ground beef, onion, Worcestershire, pepper, salt and garlic powder. Cook until beef is cooked through. Stir in ketchup, mustard and brown sugar and remove from heat.
- Roll out pizza dough on a cookie sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Cut in half lengthwise, then cut three times width-wise to form eight rectangles.
- Spread sloppy joe mix evenly over the rectangles. Top with a stick of cheese. Roll dough around filling, sealing the seams at the top and ends. Place seam side down on pan.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter and garlic salt. Brush garlic butter over the dough. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden brown.
