Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 (13.8 oz.) package refrigerated pizza dough
  • 8 sticks Colby Jack cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add ground beef, onion, Worcestershire, pepper, salt and garlic powder. Cook until beef is cooked through. Stir in ketchup, mustard and brown sugar and remove from heat.
  3. Roll out pizza dough on a cookie sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Cut in half lengthwise, then cut three times width-wise to form eight rectangles.
  4. Spread sloppy joe mix evenly over the rectangles. Top with a stick of cheese. Roll dough around filling, sealing the seams at the top and ends. Place seam side down on pan.
  5. In a small bowl, combine melted butter and garlic salt. Brush garlic butter over the dough. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden brown.
