Smoked Sausage Rolls with Mustard
Use Sparkle Cheddar-stuffed sausage to make Smoked Sausage Rolls with Mustard. This recipe makes for a perfect tailgating appetizer!
Ingredients
- 1/2 (17.2 oz.) package frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 package Sparkle Cheddar-filled smoked sausage
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 3 Tbsp. honey
- 1 egg, whisked
Instructions
- Unfold puff pastry on a cutting board, dusted with flour. Use a pizza wheel to cut pastry, crosswise, into 1/2-inch wide strips. Wrap strips around each sausage link until completely covered. transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- In a small bowl, combine mustard, mayo, cayenne and honey. Set aside.
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Brush each pastry with egg and cook about 22 to 25 minutes. Slice into 1-inch pieces, serve with sauce.
