This Easter, use natural ingredients found in your pantry and kitchen to dye your eggs a variety of beautiful colors!

Ingredients

  • 1 dozen large or extra-large eggs
  • cranberry juice concentrate for pink coloring
  • beets or paprika for red coloring
  • canned blueberries or grape juice concentrate for blue coloring
  • spinach or kale for green coloring
  • yellow onion skins for yellow coloring
  • .13 oz. packages of Kool-Aid, color of your choosing
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar for each color

Instructions

  1. To color eggs with natural ingredients, boil in water with a tablespoon of vinegar until desired shade is reached. Strain to remove solids. Place eggs in water until they turn color.
  2. For Kool-Aid eggs, add 1 packet of Kool-Aid to 2/3 cup water and stir. Place eggs in water until they turn color.
