Naturally Dyed Easter Eggs
This Easter, use natural ingredients found in your pantry and kitchen to dye your eggs a variety of beautiful colors!
Ingredients
- 1 dozen large or extra-large eggs
- cranberry juice concentrate for pink coloring
- beets or paprika for red coloring
- canned blueberries or grape juice concentrate for blue coloring
- spinach or kale for green coloring
- yellow onion skins for yellow coloring
- .13 oz. packages of Kool-Aid, color of your choosing
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar for each color
Instructions
- To color eggs with natural ingredients, boil in water with a tablespoon of vinegar until desired shade is reached. Strain to remove solids. Place eggs in water until they turn color.
- For Kool-Aid eggs, add 1 packet of Kool-Aid to 2/3 cup water and stir. Place eggs in water until they turn color.
