TikTok Feta Pasta Trend

We’re trying out another TikTok trend recipe this week in the Sparkle Eats Kitchen. By now, you’ve probably seen the Feta Pasta recipe everywhere. Pasta, tomatoes and feta are a great combo for an easy dinner. It almost seems too simple to be a good as it is!

The verdict: It’s as delicious as everyone says it is! Try it out!

In order to make this super simple and tasty recipe, you’ll need 1 pound of your favorite pasta cooked according to package directions, 2 pints of cherry or grape tomatoes, one 8 ounce block of Feta cheese, half of a cup of olive oil, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper, 2 cloves of finely chopped garlic, 1/4 of a cup of fresh chopped basil. Optional ingredients are 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes for a little spice, and 1/4 teaspoon of Italian seasoning.

Preheat your oven to 400º. While your oven is preheating, cook your pasta and set it off to the side. In a baking dish, add your Feta to the center of the dish and add tomatoes around the cheese. Drizzle the olive oil over the tomatoes and the cheese. Sprinkle all of your seasonings overtop of everything, then stir your tomatoes until they are all coated in spices.

Bake this dish for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is browned and the tomatoes are blistered and split. Break the tomatoes with a spatula to create a sauce. Add in your pasta and stir everything together until all of your noodles are coated, then garnish with basil and enjoy this delicious and easy dish!

You can make your own variations of this recipe as well by using goat cheese or cream cheese instead of the Feta. You can also add cooked chicken or shrimp to the finished dish for a complete and balanced meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pasta choose your favorite pasta and cook according to package directions
  • 2 pints cherry tomatoes
  • 8 oz Feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning optional
  • 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°.
