Baked Garlic Parmesan Wings
Wings have been a lot more affordable and on sale at your local Sparkle. With football season starting soon, you’re definitely going to want to have this Parmesan Garlic Chicken Wing recipe on-hand to make while you’re watching the games.
To make these delicious wings you’ll need 3 pounds of split chicken wings, 2 tablespoons of flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, half of a teaspoon of salt and half of a teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper.
For the topping, you’ll need 6 tablespoons of butter, half of a cup of parmesan cheese, 1 tablespoons of chopped parsley, 1 1/2 teaspoons of garlic powder and/or 4 cloves of minced garlic, half of a teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper, a quarter of a teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of hot sauce (optional).
Preheat the oven to 425°. Pat the wings dry with a paper towel. In a large resealable plastic bag, toss the wings with flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Line a pan with foil and place a baking rack overtop. Arrange wings in a single layer on the pan. Bake wings for 20 minutes, flip, then bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cooked through and crispy.
In a medium bowl, combine butter, parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, pepper, salt and hot sauce. Pour sauce overtop the wings and broil on high for 3-5 minutes.
To Air Fry: Cook in a single layer at 400° for 20-22 minutes, flipping halfway through. Toss with sauce and air fry for an additional 2-4 minutes. Toss with remaining sauce and serve.
