Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies

This recipe is perfect for Valentine’s Day. Treat your sweetheart to delicious Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies.

Ingredients

  • 1 box red velvet cake mix
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350º.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together cake mix, butter, egg, vanilla and water until well combined. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together cream cheese, egg, sugar, and vanilla until well combined. Drop by the spoonful onto the brownie dough and run a knife through the dough to swirl the cheesecake throughout. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until set. Cool completely before cutting.
