Cheddar Bacon Beer Bread
What’s nice about this bread is that it doesn’t use yeast, making it a very easy dough. It also has beer in it!
Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 12 oz. beer, at room temperature
- 1 cup sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill
- 1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350º.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Mix in beer, cheese, dill and bacon. Scrape batter into a greased 5 x 9-inch bread pan. Drizzle melted butter overtop.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
