Cinnamon Roll Casserole
Your family will love waking up to this delicious breakfast Christmas morning! You’ll want to try this one.
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 2 cans (12.4 oz.) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup and 1 tsp. maple syrup
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375º.
- Pour butter into a 3 quart baking dish. Separate rolls and set icing aside. Cut each roll into bite size pieces and place over the melted butter.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, cinnamon and vanilla until combined. Drizzle mixture over the cinnamon rolls. Sprinkle with pecans and drizzle 1/4 cup of maple syrup overtop.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes. Microwave icing for about 15 seconds or until thin enough to drizzle. Stir in 1 teaspoon of maple syrup and drizzle over the cinnamon roll casserole.
