Beef Patties and Gravy

Serve these beef patties with mashed potatoes!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 3 tsp. ketchup, divided
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce, divided
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil, divided
  • 16 oz. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 packets brown gravy mix
  • 2 cups hot water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl combine ground beef, bread crumbs, 2 teaspoons ketchup, mustard, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and onion powder. Combine until ingredients are incorporated and form into patties.
  2. In a large skillet, sauté mushrooms and onion in 1 tablespoon olive oil until soft; set aside. In the same skillet, heat remaining olive oil over medium heat. Cook patties on both sides until no longer pink.
  3. In a bowl whisk together gravy mix and water until well blended. Whisk in remaining ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Pour gravy and mushrooms over patties in skillet. Allow to simmer until gravy warms and thickens. Serve with mashed potatoes.
