Hawaiian Pork Chops
Busy tonight? Hawaiian pork chops can be prepared in the morning and ready by dinner. Serve these pork chops over rice.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. pork chops
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 (15 oz.) can pineapple chunks, undrained, divided
- 3 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- Cooked rice and cilantro for serving
Instructions
- Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, liquid from pineapple chunks, rice vinegar and garlic. In a separate bowl, whisk together water and cornstarch until dissolved. Stir into sauce mixture.
- Pour half of the sauce mixture into a slow cooker. Add pork chops and pineapple chunks. Pour remaining sauce over top. Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or low for 6 hours. Serve pork chops over rice and garnish with cilantro.
