Roasted Cherry Sangria

Roasted Cherry Sangria will be the talk of the party. This fruit medley is refreshing and fun.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. cherries, pitted and sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle red zinfandel
  • 5 oz. Grand Marnier
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle rosé wine
  • Fresh mint

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400º.
  2. Place cherries in a baking dish and sprinkle with sugar. Roast cherries for 35 to 40 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
  3. Combine cherries, red zinfandel and Grand Marnier in a pitcher. Add orange slices and juice and refrigerate for 3 hours or up to overnight.
  4. Serve over ice, top with rosé wine and garnish with mint.
