Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes
Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes are an easy side dish for the whole family. If you’ve never made mashed potatoes in the slow cooker, now is the time to try!
Ingredients
- 3 lbs. potatoes, cleaned and cut into cubes
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp. chopped chives
Instructions
- Place potatoes in slow cooker. Add chicken broth, milk, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir ingredients. Cover with lid and cook on high for 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Potatoes should be fork tender when done.
- Add butter and mash the potatoes until smooth. Stir in sour cream and cheese. Garnish with chives.
