Strawberry Lemon Poke Cake
Strawberry Lemon Poke Cake is not only delicious, but extremely easy to make.
Ingredients
- 1 box lemon cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (16 oz.) container lemon frosting, softened
- 1 (21 oz.) can strawberry pie filling
- 1 (8 oz.) container whipped cream
- 1 1/2 cup diced strawberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Make and bake lemon cake mix according to package directions. Let cake cool for 5 minutes. Poke holes in top of cake while warm.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk over cake, letting it soak into holes. Spread frosting over cake. Refrigerate until completely cooled.
- Pour pie filling in a large bowl and use a fork to smash berries. Fold in whipped cream. Spread over top of cooled cake and sprinkle with strawberries.
