Gia Russa Italian Panini

Or make Gia Russa Italian Paninis for a quick lunch.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 6 Tbsp. Gia Russa Pesto Alla Genovese
  • 2 Tbsp. Gia Russa Olive Oil
  • 8 slices ciabatta or baguette rolls
  • 16 slices ham
  • 16 slices salami
  • 1 jar Gia Russa Red and Yellow Peppers, sliced
  • 1 can Gia Russa Artichokes, drained
  • 8 slices Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 jar Gia Russa Hot Sicilian Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat panini maker.
  2. Melt cream cheese and pesto sauce in a small nonstick pan.
  3. Spread oil on one side of bread. Flip and spread other side with pesto mixture. Place bread on panini press, oil side down.
  4. Layer each with 2 slices of ham, 2 slices of salami, peppers, artichokes, 2 slices of cheese and other slice of bread, oil side up.
  5. Close panini press and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, until brown on outside and warm on inside.
  6. Remove from panini maker and cut in half. Serve with Gia Russa Sicilian Sauce.
