Chicken Burger Pitas

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground chicken
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tsp. grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 tsp. curry powder
- 1/2 tsp. dried coriander
- 1/4 tsp. cumin
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and minced
- 4 green onions, finely chopped
- 3 large pita bread
- Tzatziki sauce and shredded lettuce, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- In a large mixing bowl, add chicken, yogurt, ginger, curry, coriander, cumin, cayenne and salt. Mix with your hands to combine. Add tomato, jalapeño and onions. Mix again.
- Form mixture into 6 patties.
- Place patties on a baking sheet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray and cook for 8 minutes. Flip the patties and cook for an additional 8 minutes.
- Serve in pita with Tzatziki sauce and lettuce.
