Cheese Steak Quesadillas

Cheese Steak Quesadillas

Perfect for lunch and dinner, make Cheese Steak Quesadillas, where melty provolone is the star.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 oz. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt, divided
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper, divided
  • 2 sirloin steaks, cut into strips
  • 1 tsp. steak seasoning
  • 8 slices Provolone cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon oil.
  2. Add onion, peppers and mushrooms. Season with 3/4 teaspoon seasoned salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Cook 6 to 8 minutes and place in a bowl.
  3. Add steak to pan and season with 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt, steak seasoning and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side. Add to bowl with onions, peppers and mushrooms.
  4. Remove pan from heat and wipe clean.
  5. Put 1 slice of cheese on half of tortilla. Top with steak mixture. Layer 1 more slice of cheese and fold in half. Cook each side over medium heat in a pan sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
