Jalapeño Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms

Jalapeno Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms

This appetizer is easy to make and even easier to eat! Try it at your next tailgate.

Ingredients

  • 20 button mushrooms, stems removed
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 10 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 2 jalapeños, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • Chopped fresh chives, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, Cheddar, bacon, jalapeño, garlic, salt and pepper.
  3. Stuff mushrooms with cream cheese mixture and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes, until mushrooms are cooked. Garnish with chives and serve.
