Holiday Mix
Happy Holidays! Need to make something last-minute for a Christmas party? Toss together Holiday Mix, complete with pretzels, chocolate and peanut butter.
Ingredients
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 6 cups toasted rice cereal
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1 bag Christmas M&M’s
- 2 cups mini peanut butter cups
- 2 cups pretzel twists
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave for 30 second intervals, until melted. Stir until smooth.
- In a large bowl, add cereal. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal and use a spatula to gently toss. Mix until cereal is completely coated.
- Add powdered sugar and cocoa powder to a re-sealable gallon-sized bag. Seal and shake to blend. Add cereal mixture, seal and shake until fully coated. Spread cereal mixture out on a layer of parchment paper and let dry.
- Once dry, combine cereal mixture, M&M’s, peanut butter cups and pretzels in a large bowl and serve.
