Halloween Brownies
With bright orange swirls and plenty of festive Sparkle sprinkles on top, these brownies make the perfect Halloween treat! Boxed brownie mix (on sale at Sparkle) used in this recipe saves you time and money.
For this fun festive treat you will need, 1 18.4 oz box brownie mix, 2/3 cup vegetable oil, 1/4 cup water, 3 eggs, divided, 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, orange food coloring, festive Sparkle sprinkles for decorating.
Preheat your oven to the temperature indicated on brownie mix box. In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, oil, water and two eggs. Prepare the brownie mix as directed by manufacturer. Pour the brownie batter evenly into a 9 x 13-inch pan, sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese, remaining egg, sugar and vanilla with a hand mixer until smooth. Add food coloring and combine to make the mixture bright orange. Dollop the cream cheese mixture on top of the brownie batter. Swirl together using a knife or skewer. Bake 28-31 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Decorate with festive sprinkles while still warm. Let cool, then cut into squares to serve.
