Mini Christmas Tree Pizzas
Looking for activities to do with the kids while they’re on Christmas break? Not only are these mini-Christmas tree pizzas easy to make, but they taste just as good as they look! They can also be customized with your favorite toppings, making for a great lunch over break or a nice appetizer for your holiday spread.
For this recipe, you will need 1 package of refrigerated pizza dough, 1 cup of pizza sauce, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, chopped red and green peppers, sliced olives, and a tree-shaped cookie cutter.
To start, preheat your oven to 400º. Roll out the pizza dough and use a cookie cutter to cut out trees, using up as much of the dough as possible. Place trees on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with pizza sauce and then top with cheese and your choice of toppings to make the “ornaments.” Bake for 10 minutes until dough is cooked and browned.
And there you have it, a fun activity to do with the kids during Christmas break and it’s delicious too.
