Lazy Lasagna
Lasagna is always a family favorite, but it can be very time consuming to make it just right. Well, Megan is making all of our lives easier with this super easy Lazy Lasagna recipe that has all of the same flavors, but doesn’t include all of the steps of making the traditional dish. Let’s get cooking!
To start, you’ll need one pound of ground beef, half of a cup of chopped onion, one 24-28 ounce jar of spaghetti sauce, a fourth of a cup of Parmesan cheese, half a teaspoon of Italian seasoning, a fourth of a teaspoon of garlic powder, one 25 ounce bag of frozen cheese ravioli and two cups of shredded mozzarella cheese.
Start by preheating your oven to 350º. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion, then drain off the excess fat. Add the sauce, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Stir and simmer for 10 minutes.
Spread half of a cup of the spaghetti sauce into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Arrange one third of the frozen ravioli in a single layer. Top with half of the remaining sauce and sprinkle with some mozzarella cheese. Repeat two more layers and sprinkle with remaining shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until ravioli are cooked through and the edges are bubbling, then pair it with some delicious garlic bread and a salad for a balanced meal.
