Everything Bagel Breakfast Casserole
Everything Bagel Breakfast Casserole can be made ahead for Christmas morning. The dish brings together everything breakfast, including bagels, cheese, eggs and more!
Ingredients
- 6 everything bagels, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 lb. bacon, cooked and diced
- 2 cups Jarlsberg or Gruyere cheese, shredded
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups half and half or milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup chopped chives
Instructions
- Grease a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish. Add half of the bagel cubes. Sprinkle with half of the bacon, half the cheese and half the cream cheese. Repeat with another layer of remaining ingredients.
- In a bowl combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Whisk until combined. Pour egg mixture over bagels. Cover casserole dish and place in refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350º.
- Cover casserole with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 15 minutes. Let cool before serving. Garnish with chives.
