Maple Walnut Salmon

For dinner this week, make Maple Walnut Salmon! This recipe’s walnut crust is filled with spices and adds tons of flavor to the dish.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. chipotle powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 4 salmon fillets

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine walnuts, paprika, chipotle powder, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, syrup, apple cider vinegar and soy sauce.
  2. Place salmon on a plate and top with walnut mixture. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
  3. Preheat oven to 425°.
  4. Place salmon on a baking sheet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Transfer to oven and cook about 7 to 10 minutes.
