Veggie Calzone
Veggie Calzones are done in less than 20 minutes! It’s a versatile recipe, simply add meat or your favorite ingredients to your desired liking.
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated pizza crust
- 3/4 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup chopped zucchini
- 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
- 1/2 cup chopped broccoli
- 1 cup chopped spinach
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. dried basil
- 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- Marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°.
- In large bowl, combine mushrooms, zucchini, peppers, broccoli, spinach, green onions, garlic salt, dried basil
- and Italian seasoning; mix well.
- Unroll dough; pat to form 14 x 10-inch rectangle. Cut dough into four 7 x 5-inch rectangles. Divide cheese
- evenly onto half of each rectangle. Top cheese with vegetable mixture. Fold untopped dough over filling
- and press edges firmly to seal. Place on a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Brush each with oil.
- With a knife cut 3 small slits in the top for steam to escape. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden
- brown. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping
