Ingredients
- 5 lbs. chicken wings, separated at the joint, tips removed
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup plus 2 Tbsp. pure maple syrup, divided
- 1/2 cup spicy mustard, divided
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Season wings with salt and pepper. Place wings on the greased grill. Cook for 10 minutes, turning halfway through.
- In a bowl, whisk together 1/3 cup maple syrup, 1/4 cup mustard, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Reserve half of sauce. Brush wings with remaining sauce. Grill for 10 more minutes, then flip and brush with sauce again. Continue to grill for another 5 minutes, or until wings are cooked through.
- Meanwhile, pour reserved sauce into a small saucepan and cook for one minute, just until slightly thickened. Place wings in a large bowl. Pour thickened sauce over the wings and toss to coat. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, remaining 2 tablespoons of maple syrup and 1/4 cup mustard. Serve with wings.
