Strawberry Lemon Poke Cake

Strawberry Lemon Poke Cake is not only delicious, but extremely easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 box lemon cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (16 oz.) container lemon frosting, softened
  • 1 (21 oz.) can strawberry pie filling
  • 1 (8 oz.) container whipped cream
  • 1 1/2 cup diced strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Make and bake lemon cake mix according to package directions. Let cake cool for 5 minutes. Poke holes in top of cake while warm.
  3. Pour sweetened condensed milk over cake, letting it soak into holes. Spread frosting over cake. Refrigerate until completely cooled.
  4. Pour pie filling in a large bowl and use a fork to smash berries. Fold in whipped cream. Spread over top of cooled cake and sprinkle with strawberries.
