Apple & Cheddar Burgers
For dinner this week, use some seasonal apples to make Apple & Cheddar Burgers. Topped with a mustard aioli, this burger has lots of flavor.
Ingredients
Mustard Aioli
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 apple, peeled and grated
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns, toasted
- 4 slices Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon, lemon juice and garlic powder. Cover and refrigerate.
- In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, grated apple, salt and pepper. Form into four patties. Grill about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
- Spread mustard aioli onto each bottom bun. Top with patties and cheese, then serve.
- *For a low-carb alternative, serve burgers on apple slices instead of buns.
