Pumpkin Pie Balls

Pumpkin Pie Balls

Stay warm this fall with some of the recipes we’ve whipped up this week. For a fun, seasonal dessert, make Pumpkin Pie Balls.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin pie filling
  • 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup sugar, divided
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 tube crescent roll dough sheet
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. In a large bowl, use a hand mixer to combine pumpkin pie filling, cream cheese, egg, 1/3 cup sugar, vanilla, salt, cinnamon and cloves.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and cut into 8 squares. Scoop 1 tablespoon of pumpkin mixture onto each square. Fold dough over and seal edges to create a ball. Transfer balls to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together remaining 1/3 cup sugar and pumpkin pie spice. Brush balls with melted butter, then sprinkle with sugar mixture. Bake 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. In a medium bowl, combine powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Remove balls from oven and drizzle with glaze.
