Shrimp Ciabatta Bread

For your next get-together, treat guests to delicious Shrimp Ciabatta Bread. Garlic and fresh dill give this dish extra flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. cooked shrimp, tails removed
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced, divided
  • 1 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar Jack cheese
  • 1 loaf ciabatta bread, sliced in half lengthwise

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. In a large pan over medium heat, add shrimp, butter, two cloves garlic and Old Bay seasoning. Stir and cook one minute until coated. Let cool, then chop into small pieces.
  3. In a medium bowl, add chopped shrimp, salt, pepper, mayonnaise, dill, chives, remaining 2 cloves garlic and cheese. Stir until well combined. Spread mixture evenly overtop both halves of the ciabatta bread.
  4. Place ciabatta loaves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 10 to 13 minutes.
