Slow Cooker Carnitas
For an easy-to-make dinner, try Slow Cooker Carnitas, served on tortillas with toppings like cheese, avocado slices and sour cream.
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. dry ranch seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 (3 lb.) boneless pork shoulder
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 orange, sliced
- Tortillas, cheese, avocado slices and sour cream, for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together ranch seasoning, salt, pepper, chili powder and olive oil. Rub mixture over pork. Place in slow cooker, then top with onion and orange slices.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. Shred meat with forks, then serve on tortillas, topped with desired toppings.
