Beef and Tomato Pasta
Have dinner ready for the kids in a pinch with this recipe for Beef and Tomato Pasta. The best part? This meal only requires one pot!
For this one pot dish you will need, 1 lb elbow macaroni, cooked al dente, 1 lb ground beef, 1 onion, diced, 2 garlic cloves, minced, 1 28 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained, 1 24-26 oz can tomato sauce, 1/2 cup beef broth, additional if needed, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp Italian seasoning 1/4 tsp dried oregano, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper, 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese.
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef and onion until cooked through. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add diced tomatoes and tomato sauce, then mix well. Add broth, Worcestershire, Italian seasoning, oregano, salt and pepper; mix well. Cover and cook for 20 minutes. Uncover, add pasta and stir well. Top with Cheddar cheese and serve with a side of garlic bread from your local Sparkle!

- 24-26 oz can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth additional if needed
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
