Invite the kids to the kitchen to make these super simple and festive Cake Mix Cookies, using boxed cake mix and holiday sprinkles. The best part? This recipe can be customized to your liking by swapping the cake mix flavor and mix-ins!

 

You will need, 1 stick of butter, softened, 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened, 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 16.25 oz white cake mix, 1/2 cup red and green sprinkles, divided, 3/4 cup white chocolate ships, 1/3 cup confectioner’s sugar.

Cream together butter and cream cheese. Add egg and vanilla and beat until combined. Beat in the cake mix until well blended. Stir in 1/4 cup sprinkles and white chocolate chips. Refrigerate at least one hour or overnight. Preheat oven to 350º. In a small bowl, mix remaining sprinkles with confectioner’s sugar. Scoop rounded tbsp of dough and roll into 1-inch balls and roll in confectioner’s sugar mixture until completely covered. Place about 2-inches apart on a cookie sheet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake 8-10 minutes, then allow to sit on the sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
