Gia Russa Pizza Stuffed Shells

Our friends at Gia Russa gave us this great stuffed shell recipe! We’re putting a twist on your usual recipe by adding pepperoni and giving it more of a pizza flavor! You’re going to love it! Yum!

What you will need for this stuffed shell twist is, 1 box of Gia Russa Stuffed shells, 2 cups Gia Russa Ricotta cheese, 2 1/2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese, 6 oz pepperoni (sliced or diced),1/2 cup Gia Russa Parmesan Cheese, 1 tbsp Italian seasoning, 2 cans Gia Russa Pizza Sauce, 2 tbsp chopped parsley, Salt and pepper to taste.

In a large pot of boiling water cook stuffing shells as per directions on package. Once pasts is cooked rinse under cold water and set aside. Preheat oven to 375º. In a large bowl combine ricotta cheese, 1/2 the pepperoni, 1/2 the mozzarella, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until everything is combined. In a baking dish spread one can of Gia Russa pizza sauce evenly on the bottom. Fill each shell with ricotta mixture and place in a baking pan. Once all are filled cover with one can Gia Russa Pizza sauce and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and pepperoni over the top of the shells. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted and starting to brown. Top with chopped parsley and serve.

  • 1 box Gia Russa Stuffing shells
  • 2 cups Gia Russa Ricotta cheese
