Jalapeño Popper Chip Bites
Football season is here, and that means family and friends will be gathering around to watch the game. And who doesn’t love a quick, easy, delicious recipe that everyone will love? Today we’re making Jalapeño Popper Chip Bites, which have all of the flavors of your traditional jalapeño poppers, but without the big bite of pepper that some people may not like.
What you will need for this game day snack is 1 (8oz) package of softened cream cheese, 1/3 cup of chopped green onions, 3 jalapeños, seeded and diced, 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled, 1 cup of shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper, and a bag of scoop shaped tortilla chips. This recipe will make about 50 bites altogether.
Now let’s get to cooking! Preheat your oven to 375º. In a medium bowl, stir together cream cheese, green onions, jalapeños, bacon, garlic powder, black pepper and Cheddar cheese. Scoop some filling into each chip and lay onto baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until filling is bubbling and cheese is melted.

Ingredients
- 8 oz package cream cheese softened
- 1/3 cup green onions chopped
- 3 jalapeños seeded and diced
- 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 48 scoops tortilla chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375º.
