Buffalo Chicken Skewers
Buffalo Chicken Skewers are an easy snack or appetizer for your next football tailgate or gathering.
Ingredients
- 1 (28 oz.) bag buffalo style chicken boneless wings
- 8 oz. blue cheese, cut into cubes
- 3 celery stalks, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 avocado
- 1 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp. hot sauce
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 12 small skewers
Instructions
- Cook chicken according to the package directions.
- While chicken is cooking, mix avocado, yogurt, buttermilk, dill, parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and cayenne in a blender. Mix until smooth. Pour into a serving bowl and place in refrigerator until ready to serve.
- Once chicken is cooked, thread celery, blue cheese and one chicken bite onto a skewer. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Place skewers on a serving platter and serve with dipping sauce.
