Chicken with Tomato Butter Sauce
Chicken with Tomato Butter Sauce is made with ingredients you typically have at home.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 5 tomatoes, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 8 oz. linguine, cooked to package directions
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Add chicken and pan-fry for several minutes on each side until golden brown. Set aside.
- Add tomatoes to pan and simmer until tomatoes make a chunky sauce. Add garlic and butter and stir to combine. Stir in basil, oregano and red pepper flakes. Add chicken back into mixture and let simmer for a few minutes. Top pasta with chicken and sauce.
