Beef and Cheese Taco Wraps
This recipe is an oldie, but goodie and a favorite of Megan’s over the years. Try this play on an item from a Mexican fast food chain that’s a crowd pleaser! Beef and Cheese Taco Wraps are an easy dinner that the whole family will love!
To make Megan’s favorite you will need, 1 lb ground beef, 2 tbsp Sparkle taco seasoning, 2/3 cup water, 6 ( 12-inch ) flour tortillas, 1 cup nacho cheese, warmed, 3 cups tortilla chips, 1 cup sour cream, 2 cups shredded lettuce, 1 tomato, diced, 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend or Cheddar.
In a skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat. When no longer pink, drain the grease. Stir in taco seasoning and water, cook until thickened. Warm one tortilla in the microwave for 20 seconds. Spread warm cheese in the center of the tortilla. Add taco meat, then tortilla chips (break if needed to make them fit), sour cream, lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese. Fold the edges of the tortilla up to the center of the fillings, folding as tightly as possible. Spray a skillet or griddle with cooking spray and heat over medium heat. Place wrap, seam-side down into the skillet. cook for 2 to 3 minutes, flip over and cook for 2 more minutes. Repeat with remaining tortillas.

Beef and Cheese Taco Wraps
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp Sparkle taco seasoning
- 2/3 cup water
- 6 flour tortillas 12 inch
- 1 cup nacho cheese warmed
- 3 cups tortilla chips
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato diced
- 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend or cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat. When no longer pink, drain the grease. Stir in taco seasoning and water, cook until thickened.
- Warm one tortilla in the microwave for 20 seconds. Spread warm cheese in the middle of the tortilla. Add taco meat, then tortilla chips (break if you need to make them fit), sour cream, lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese.
- Fold the edges of the tortilla up to the center of the fillings, folding as tight as possible.
- Spray a skillet or griddle with cooking spray and heat over medium heat. Place wrap, seam-side down onto the skillet. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, flip over and cook for 2 more minutes. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
